ABOUT US

Since 2002 our mission has been to observe, support and award young creators at the onset of their artistic careers. These activities were formalised in 2014 when the Foundation was established, and we are pursuing our goals by organising the competition for students of art faculties across Poland and via numerous undertakings for the artists’ benefit with our role as an art patron. Our hope is not only to facilitate young artists in entering the art market but also to raise public discussion on the state, experiences and anxieties of the young generation.

It is a conscious choice of ERGO Hestia to support cultural initiatives as early as at the stage of talent discovery. Even though this path may seem less obvious as longer and more challenging, the outcome tends to be highly rewarding. Therefore we established the Hestia Artisitc Journey Foundation which operates the art patronage programme on our behalf.

The Foundation promotes young Polish artists – students of art universities and faculties in Poland. Since 2002 our art competition framework have been providing support for them by means of organising exhibitions of their artworks and awarding the best creators with scholarship programmes abroad.

The ERGO Hestia Group consists of two insurance companies: STU ERGO Hestia SA and STU na Życie ERGO Hestia SA. The Group companies offer insurance for individuals in the area of property and life preservation as well as for industry and small and medium-sized enterprises. Sprawozdanie

The Art Pavilion. A gallery in a regular block of flats in Warsaw at 1 Kostrzewskiego street. Not far from the city centre, yet free from its buzzling noise. Opposite the street, there is one of the most mysterious buildings in Warsaw: a deserted block of flats at Sobieskiego 100. Our place welcomes not only artists or art collectors, but also our neighbours. We make sure that the space is available to everybody.

The ERGO Hestia Art Pavilion is a space for dialogue among education, culture and art. It also houses the Warsaw-based office of the Foundation, which coordinates all activities related to APH. This vibrant and full of artistic life spot in the capital initiates and inspires numerous interesting stories, unique events.

The space attracts people of various interests and views on art. Each year we organise about 6 exhibitions. Whether painting, installations or performance, we always make sure to plan all coming events in the way that is attractive to a wider audience. A traditional opening night was replaced by a breakfast with the artist, as the weekend aura and tasty food shorten the distance between the viewers and the exhibiting creator. On top of that, we make delicious coffee.
The events at the Pavilion are not limited to those around exhibitions. For each year the Foundation plans a whole range of high quality activities, which are personalised and specifically designed to meet the needs of each group: business people, wider audience and artists. The Pavilion has won a group of loyal audience over the years and is also visited by the key players from the art world. The venue is generally perceived as a showroom and a major spot on the artistic map of Warsaw. It is also a creative space where each person can find an appealing offer from the range of lectures and workshops provided here. No doubt you will spot an interesting event that will call your attention. We can’t wait to meet you.
