Annual Report “Spaces” 2015

Shaping, creating, sculpting. Cutting out, designing, gluing. Shortcuts. Roads to achievement. Broad ways and narrow paths. Shapes that take their forms only when redundant elements are removed. That is what lies beneath the creative process of Matej Frank, presented with the Special Award in the 13th edition of Hestia Artistic Journey. The young artist took the challenge of depicting the year 2014 in one of the major insurance companies in Poland: its development, internal features and character. In Matej Frank’s work, ERGO Hestia takes on a shape that is in a constant, proportional, annual growth. It marks its presence not only in space, but also in time.
